LEGO Collection Analysis
The Project
I am currently auditing a legacy collection found in storage. Between the bricks, the tub, and the instruction manuals, the total weight is approximately 48 lbs. This is a manual “Search and Discovery” project to see what’s actually in the bin and complete the vintage sets I know are hidden inside.
The Process
I am currently in the Physical-to-Digital phase:
- Sorting: Breaking the bulk down by part type and color.
- Cataloging: Entering unique IDs and quantities into a master Google Sheet.
- Identification: Finding “Anchor Parts” to match the loose bricks back to their original sets.
